Create a marathon challenge where participants can earn points by running, walking, swimming, and cycling, with the points, earned going to the credit of personal and team scoring. The same points will be converted into rubles to be spent on charity.
Develop this marathon challenge, I used the experience gained from similar projects. I created a registration process for participants and connected it to an activity tracker. I also created personal ratings, a table for marathon leaders, and a personal account for each participant. For new features like team scoring, tasks for teams, and a counter for earned charity money, I developed new solutions.
The main page was divided into six sections:
1. Hero section
This section shows the dates of the marathon, how many days are left before the start, and a call-to-action button to sign up or sign in. During the marathon, personal and team results are displayed for authorized users, along with the day's challenge, kilometers covered, and money earned.
2&3. Charity & Steps sections
Charity section displays the charity mission and a counter that shows the kilometers covered and money earned by all participants.
Steps section explains how to apply to the marathon and what steps need to be completed. After registration, this section changes to an extended charity section.
4. Rating section
This section displays the leaders of the team and individual scoring, separately for men and women in each sport discipline.
5. Goals and tasks section
This section has a separate block for individual and team scoring, with the ability to view the description of team tasks.
6. Marathon support section
This section provides an opportunity to contact the marathon organizer and ask questions.
Other pages
The personal account provides a comprehensive view of the user's progress in the marathon, including a list of completed training sessions and details such as start and end time, distance covered, and pace. Users can connect or disconnect their activity tracker, view their current rating in each sports discipline, and see which team they are on, as well as the team's place in the overall rating.
The team page displays the team's place and the number of points earned, as well as a list of tasks with the number of points earned on each day of the marathon. Users can also view the description of each task and see how many points were earned on it. The team page also lists all the team members.
The rating page displays personal and team scores in table form, with the ability to search for participants or teams. This allows users to see how they are performing compared to others in the marathon and their team's overall ranking.
Designed marathon service makes it easy for participants to track their progress and stay motivated throughout the challenge. The personal account, team page, and rating page allowed the participant to track better their progress and connect with others in the marathon.
